There is a fix
You know the feeling. Around mile 20, the numbness sets in. You stand on the pedals every ten minutes for relief. And back home, you can still feel the saddle for the rest of the day.
It's a classic cyclist problem: a standard saddle puts your weight on the perineum instead of your sit bones, the two bones built to carry you. The pudendal nerve and arteries in that area get compressed: numbness, tingling, sometimes lower-back pain too. Doctors also warn about the long-term effects of repeated compression, in men and women alike.
Fed up with cutting rides short, trying saddle after saddle, or paying big-brand prices for a 3D saddle "just to see if it works"? There's a solution designed for exactly that.
The 3D structure
Standard "comfort" saddles all make the same mistake: they add foam. More foam means more squish, and more pressure on the perineum. A 3D-printed structure does exactly the opposite.
Hundreds of independent cells each flex exactly where they need to. Your sit bones rest on a firm zone while your perineum floats over open space.
The channel runs the full length of the seat, so the sensitive area is no longer compressed. In practice: no more pins and needles after an hour in the saddle.
Chromoly steel rails absorb the road buzz that stiffer rails let through. On cobbles, dirt roads or rough tarmac, it makes all the difference over 4–5 hours in the saddle.
Comparison
High-end 3D saddles share the same principles: a printed structure, a center channel, a short nose. The real difference is the price.

Risk-free road test
Who is it for?
Road
Sunday club rides, gran fondos, 50 to 90 miles: you stack up the hours without the usual stops for relief.
Gravel · trails
The more the ground vibrates, the more a standard saddle hurts. The 3D structure and chromoly rails take the hits for you.
Indoor trainer
On a trainer you barely move, so pressure stays in the same spot for an hour. That's where a 3D saddle makes the biggest difference.

FAQ
The honest answer: no saddle suits 100% of riders without a test. The R-3D has standard dimensions (250 × 150 mm, wide center channel) that suit the vast majority of riders, men and women. That's why we give you 60 days to try it on your real rides: if it's not right for you, send it back.
Yes. The 150 mm width and open center channel suit the vast majority of riders, men and women alike: the sensitive area is relieved in both cases.
Most riders feel it on the very first ride. If you've ridden a heavily padded saddle for years, allow two or three rides for your body to settle into the new contact points.
The 7 mm round rails mount on any seatpost with a standard rail clamp: road, gravel, MTB, city and e-bike. For a seatpost with a proprietary clamp, send us a photo at support@ozalo.fr and we'll confirm before you buy.
It's one of its best use cases. On a trainer you barely move and pressure stays in the same spot for 1–2 hours: that's where the 3D structure makes the biggest difference compared with a standard saddle.
No. Unlike a leather saddle that needs hundreds of miles, the 3D structure is comfortable right away: fit it and ride.
Neither soft nor hard: it's progressive, supple on the surface and firm at the core. The chromoly rails absorb the remaining vibration.

Race-grade 3D saddle technology, without the big-brand price tag.
Numbness after 30 km, sore sit bones, standing on the pedals just to get some relief… The R-3D Saddle was chosen for riders who want to ride for hours without giving their saddle a second thought.
Its 3D-printed padding is made of hundreds of cells that each flex independently: your weight is spread over your sit bones instead of concentrating on the perineum, which is relieved by a wide center channel that runs the full length of the saddle.
Its short nose and 150 mm width keep your pelvis stable and prevent inner-thigh chafing, whether you're down in the drops or on the indoor trainer.

Standard 7 mm round rails – fits any seatpost with a standard rail clamp. Set your saddle setback by measuring from the bottom bracket rather than from the saddle nose: a short-nose saddle usually sits slightly further forward than your current one. Allow two or three rides to settle into your new position.
A foam saddle compresses under your weight and presses exactly where it shouldn't: on the perineum. The result? Tingling, cut-short rides, standing on the pedals every ten minutes. It's not your fitness that's the problem – it's your saddle.
The 3D-printed padding is made of hundreds of independent cells. They stay firm under your sit bones, where you should be supported, and give way in the middle thanks to the open channel. Air flows through the structure: less heat, less friction.
Sunday club rides, gran fondos, indoor trainer sessions where you barely move: the R-3D Saddle is designed for riders who spend more than an hour in the saddle. Unisex, it installs in five minutes in place of your current saddle.
